An Englishman, a Frenchman, a Spaniard and a German are all standing watching a street performer do some excellent juggling. The juggler notices that the four gentlemen have a very poor view, so he stands up on a large wooden box and calls out, “Can you all see me now?”
Took me about ten minutes to finally understand this
stupidest/most awesome joke ever
these party times…
So, these items seem kind of random, right? But they are each symbolic, and represent specific trials. They all are also in some way edible (or at least contain something edible).
John’s is the simplest, and the easiest to solve. It comes from the most obvious myth of the four: taking a bite from an apple of the tree of knowledge. It’s the most significant because it kicks off the whole game.
Rose had to break to break a bottle on her house, similar to breaking a champagne bottle over a new ship. Then she had to take a leap of faith to retrieve the bottle, and rely on a friend (Jaspersprite) to catch her.
Dave needed to have patience, to simply do nothing and wait for the egg to hatch. Eggs represent new beginnings and new life—and this would certainly be a new beginning for all of them. And though it seems simple, Dave struggled with it. This would be a significant trial for a Knight of Time.
Jade had to shoot a Bec piñata in the head, while blindfolded. The idea of destroying an image of Bec relates to Jack, who can also be considered an image of Bec. She had to take a shot in the dark, and rely on her friend (like Rose).
John: Loss of innocence.
Rose: Leap of faith, trust in a friend.
Dave: A lesson in patience.
Jade: Shot in the dark, the greater good.
oh. my. god.
What is this?! I want to watch it!
She warned him.
Same Gavin… Same.
can someone bring capes back into fashion
when the fuck did they even go out of fashion
Why the fuck did they even go out of fashion
The first time the Incredibles took over a post and I am so happy about it
reminder that stratogale was in high school when she got sucked into the airplane propeller and died
do you ever just think edna sat in the back of the funeral in the little hometown church
the sound of sniffling and crying surrounding her
wearing a floor-length black dress and a black veil to hide her puffy eyes as she takes out her sketchbook and starts ripping all her design ideas for costumes out
whispering “no capes. no capes. no capes.” over and over, knowing that it was her fault a high school student died a horrific, painful death to the point where they can’t have a body to bury
WHY WOULD YOU
